INTRODUCTION

For this week we do pruning at oil palm and got to nursery 

OBJECTIVE

• Manage tree health and direction of growth.
• Remove unwanted branches
• To improve the tree's structures

5.30 A.M	Students in part 2 are required to go in taqwa mosque for fajr prayer
6.20 A.M	We started the day with physical training.
7.20 A.M	Then all students from parts 1, 2, and 3 must to go at the Agrotech. We must sing Negaraku, UiTM dihatiku, and Planters song and we read 10 awal al khafi and 10 terakhir al kahfi
8.10 A.M	After that, we had a meeting with the lecturer about pruning methods. Pruning is the process of removing certain branches from a tree. Removing unwanted branches, improving tree structure and guiding healthy new growth is the objective
8.30 A.M	We headed to our oil palm farm
9.00 A.M	A heavy duty oil palm harvesting chisel was used by Sir to demonstrate its use
9.20 A.M	We begin the pruning of oil palm
10.00 A.M	We were shown how to operate the oil palm cutting machine by the staff and also we try to use it too
10.30 A.M	We rest
11.00 A.M	We headed to our nursery
11.30.00 A.M	We go back to our college
